Journal Entry #6 - A Card Laid is a Card Played
Reflection: I often wonder what is really real and what is not. When I am not on a trusted website, these thoughts really flow into my brain. A person never really knows how much of the information that they are receiving is false. There are so many websites out there that are in competition so, there is always the option that they put in a little extra information to make the article more appealing to viewers. The reporters also could make up these lies for the chance to be in the spotlight. Everyone wants their five minutes of fame and by having a big story, the reporters ego could be boosted. There are a few websites that I trust and don't have too many worries when I read their information. Bardown.com is always a trusted website in my opinion, as well as CTV News. My reaction to the articles was shock. In my opinion, someone in a professional position should not lie to the public. I was second hand embarrassed for these reporters, I could not begin to imagine how
