The article on CBC is most definitely hard news. The article explains the alarming rate at which Toronto drivers are running over pedestrians. This has a big effect on the world and the people reading the article. It is an extremely big issue and needs to be dealt with. The population, especially of Toronto and surrounding areas need to be informed of the wicked drivers in the city. In the past five years, more than 150 pedestrians and cyclists have been killed. This is an alarming rate and is increasing quite quickly. The cyclists are taking on the mindset of car drivers which is very dangerous. These events are immediate news and affect many people. This article showcases important information about a problem that needs to be addressed quickly.

This article on Bardown.com is a soft news report. This article explains the hockey games outcome and shows live footage of the wicked goal that was scored. A lot of skill was showcased by the player in this goal; it was quite entertaining for sure. Hockey fans would be amazed and really enjoy to watch this dirty goal. The goaltender really had no chance on that one, it was perfectly executed. It is only a soft news article because nothing dangerous happens. The only danger that took place was the goaltender lost all of his integrity and was in utter shame after the snipe show that took place. It was an extremely interesting article to read especially with the video footage of the goal that tied it all together. The article is quite laid back, especially in the title. It is based on just one goal that took place during the game and it does not go into great detail of information. It just gives the bare minimum. 10/10 recommend watching the beautiful goal.

The fight that took place is not a groundbreaking event that would be earth-shattering news but, it is definitely not a soft story to take in either. The tilt that took place should not be taken lightly because it is something out of the ordinary and dangerous also. Fans should be aware of this, especially because the Sens are set to face off against the Leafs three more times this season. The purpose of the article is to inform people of the wild event that took place so, they can be aware of this in case of future mishaps. The tone is quite laid back because it is in a way comical that the two people got in a fight over a hockey game. The hard-hitting side of this comes from that fact that a fight broke out and those included had to be escorted from the rink. This was a violent event that took place but, it is quite a small event.
